These are modalities I have been trained in to support healing for each client's unique situation.

EMDR

EMDR is evidenced based therapy used to desensitize emotional responses by using tapping while processing with a emotionally safe person (aka: your therapist). EMDR recreates new neuropathways in your brain, so your brain is literally healing/changing itself.
Somatic Experiencing
An invitation to slow down your mind and "listen" to your body
Somatic Experiencing is evidenced based therapy that helps people complete stress responses in their nervous system when they were not able to complete it in a previous situation.

It slows things down and allows someone to "attune" to their nervous system and can support in decreasing depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms.


Brainspotting
Developed from EMDR
Brainspotting is evidenced based therapy where you look affects how you feel.

This allows someone to "process" from the deeper part of the brain, the Limbic system, where trauma is stored and allows the brain to "unravel" so to speak.
IFS
Internal family systems
IFS is an evidence-based therapy focusing on multiple different "sub-personalities" or "parts and working on integrated them into your authentic self.
